The loose ring offers immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure as the bit is immediately reset to the neutral position in the horse's mouth as the contact is softened. The ultra comfy lock up mouthpiece is designed with a curves mouthpiece and a locking centre joint which eliminates nutcracker action and therefore reduces bar pressure in your horse's mouth. This mouthpiece can only bend so far so it always maintains its curved shape and doesn't form the V shape nutcracker action that could irritate your horse's palate.
