A bit about your riding career:

My initiation into horses can be credited to a naughty grey pony, Penny, who had a knack for throwing me off. I kept getting back on so mum and dad figured I must have been keen! From then I dabbled in show horse, show jumping, dressage, Interschool’s and pony club until I fell hard for eventing. I like the challenge of having to master three phases, you can always improve somewhere, and nothing beats the adrenaline rush of a successful cross country round.

Max Almighty was purchased for me from Cethana stud as a 2 year old when I was 12. My dad and I started him and Max took me all the way to old 3***. Performance highlights were a 2nd in the CC1 2** at Sydney International 2014, a win at Melbourne International 2014, and being a member of the winning Australian young rider Trans-Tasman team. These achievements led me to winning 2014 young athlete of the year at the EWA awards. I will always hold Max responsible for my passion for the sport of eventing.

In 2019 I was lucky enough to be given the ride on Dvz Solitaire and Dvz Sydney, belonging to the lovely Hickson family. 2020 will hopefully see Sydney progress to EvA95 and Solitaire into 2**. I also have the ride on some up and coming youngsters, including a 3 year old Irish Sport horse, Monty, from the same stud (Cethana) as Max.

Most Memorable Moment:

Winning the CCI2** at Melbourne International 3Day, 2014, and being long listed for Rio 2016.
